Staffing Services

Internal audit – Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other corporate governance regulations, including the New York Stock Exchange requirement that all listed companies have an internal audit function, have generated demand for Fulcrum internal auditors. These professionals are being contracted and hired to examine internal controls, develop audit strategies and conduct ongoing audits of customer organizations’ records.

General accounting – staff and senior accountants to manage a variety of accounting needs, including maintaining general-ledger accounts, preparing financial statements and assisting with the budget process. For senior roles, Fulcrum can provide individuals with public accounting backgrounds as well as extensive experience with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings and financial reporting under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Additionally, many of our senior consultants have assisted customers with “fresh start” support due to bankruptcy.

Financial analysis – Financial analysts to evaluate cost and expense variances, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and perform financial modeling.

Controller – These professionals are contracted on a full-time and consulting basis to expedite the reporting process and improve internal control attestation.

Tax accounting – address new complexities in tax laws and greater documentation requirements under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Accounts payable and receivable – purchasing activity is fueling demand for accounts payable staff to process incoming invoices. As their businesses grow, firms also require additional accounts receivable professionals to manage payments from clients.

Bookkeeping – to handle basic accounting requirements, including processing payroll, managing general-ledger reconciliations and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.

Professional Certifications including CPAs, CMA’s, CIA, CPP, CCE and CISA.
